Step 1: Go to Search bar and type “Control Panel”. Click on the match keyword. In Control panel Windows, navigate to Power Options available.

Step 2: Depending on your PC, you might see several preset plan settings such as Balanced, Power Saving, Performance, etc. For most PC, Balanced settings are seen. You need to click on “Change Plan Settings”.

Step 3: A new Settings Window will open namely “Edit Plan Settings”. There are two adjustments seen i.e. Turn off the display and Put the computer to sleep. Both of them are adjusted on Battery and Plugged in mode. Change the Put computer to sleep in Never mode in Plugged in Settings.

Step 4: Now click on “Change advanced power settings” at the bottom of the Edit Plan Settings. As a result, a new Window will open namely “Advanced Settings”.

Step 5: In “Advanced Settings” Window, there are lots options. Navigate to USB Settings and click on (+) icon. Then click on “USB selective suspend setting”. Go to Plugged in option, make it disabled.

Step 6: In the same Window, navigate to “Processor power management”. Expand the “Minimum processor state” and set the plugged in to “100%”. After that click on Apply followed by OK button.
