Enabling the Synchronization Option on Google Chrome
Open the Web Browser “Google Chrome”. Navigate to right
upper section where three dots are seen. Then lots of options will be seen. Go
to the third last option says “Settings” just above Help.
Then Settings page
will open. The same page can be opened by typing the text “chrome://settings”
on URL of Web Browser. On Settings page navigate to People tab. On people tab there
are four options such as Sync and Google services, Manage your Google
Account, Chrome name and picture and Import bookmarks and
settings. Beginning with all these four options there is one more option for
enabling the Sync for any Gmail account.
Check that the Sync is active with a
profile picture followed by Gmail account - ---------@gmail.com.
The text shows “Syncing to -----------@gmail.com.
Resetting the Synchronization option on Chrome
Open the Google Browser and navigate to three dots “Settings”.
When Settings page is open, click on Sync and Google Services. Now click on “Data
from Chrome Sync” option.
Now Scroll down and click on “RESET SYNC”
option.
After clicking the option, chrome will clear your data from the server and
remove your passphrase. Don’t panic
about the deletion since it will not clear data from your devices. That’s all,
get back to device where data was deleted accidentally and sign back in to get recovered.
Turning on the Synchronization on Google Chrome
Since resetting was done to the Sync so we need to turn on
Sync once to get lost password. So, Again, go to Settings. Navigate to
first option asking for “Turn on Sync”.
Click on it and provide active Gmail
account and Password to log in.
After Signing, the deleted password will be
seen automatically after the completion of sync turn on.
